January’s temperature averaged 30.1°F and was 1.6°F below normal.  The month tied with January 2011 as the 13th coldest such month on record (since 1977).   Only 10 days averaged above normal.  There were 11 days with maximums of 40°F or higher and 4 days with maximums of 50°F or higher.  There were 6 days with maximums of 32°F or lower and 28 days with minimums of 32°F or lower.  Temperature extremes included 59°F on the 2nd and 8°F on the 16th.

The temperature for July averaged 81.4°F and was the warmest such month on record (since 1977) and the warmest since 1993.  The month was the 3rd consecutive month with above normal temperatures.  Only 6 days averaged near or below normal.  There were 14 days with maximums of 90°F or higher and 2 days with maximums of 100°F.  Temperature extremes included 100°F on the 24th and 65°F on the 4th.

 

The temperature for August averaged 80.5°F and was the warmest such month on record (since 1977).  The month was the 7th consecutive month with above normal temperatures.  Only 4 days averaged near or below normal.  There were 16 days with maximums of 90°F or higher Normal is 6).  Temperature extremes included 99°F on the 94th and 65°F on the 14th.
