The temperatures in April averaged 48.9°F and was 2.3°F below normal.  The month ranked as the coldest such month on record since 1992 (since 1978). The month was the 2nd consecutive month with below normal temperatures. There were only 5 days that averaged near or above normal. There were 18 days with maximum of 60°F or lower. There were 5 days with minimums of 32°F or lower. Temperature extremes included 85°F on the 13th and 258F on the 9th.   

Precipitation totaled 5.83 inches and was 1.67 inches above normal (140 percent of normal). The month ranked as the 9th wettest such month on record and the wettest since 1984.  The month was also the 2nd consecutive month with above normal precipitation. There were 13 days with measurable precipitation.  The most to fall in a 24-hours period was 3.26 inches on the 15-16th. Snowfall was also above normal totaling 6.8 inches and ranked as the 2nd snowiest such month on record and the snowiest since 1982.  The most to fall in a 24-hour period was 6.8 inches on the 2nd. Snowfall for the season totaled 45.1 inches and ranked as the 7th snowiest such season on record and the snowiest since 2014-15 season. There were only 6 clear days and 12 overcast days.
