July’s temperature average 79.9°F and was +2.4°F above normal.  The month ranked as ties with June 2007as the 4th warmest such month on record (since 1977) and the warmest since 2011.  The month was also the 4th consecutive month with above normal temperatures. Only 9 days averaged near or below normal. There were 15 days with maximums of 90°F or higher. Temperature extremes included 100°F on the 21st (the first time since (2013) and 65°F on the 24th.  

Precipitation totaled 7.96 inches and was 3.68 inches above normal (186 percent of normal). The month ranked as the 3rd wettest such month on record and the wettest since 1997. The month was also the 3rd consecutive month with above normal precipitation. The most received in a 24-hour period was 2.89 inches on the 22-23rd. There were 10 days with measurable precipitation. There were only 12 clear days and only 2 overcast days.th-30th.
