The temperature fir July averaged 81.4°F and was the warmest such month on record (since 1977) and the warmest since 1993.  The month was the 3rd consecutive month with above normal temperatures.  Only 6 days averaged near or below normal.  There were 14 days with maximums of 90°F or higher and 2 days with maximums of 100°F.  Temperature extremes included 100°F on the 24th and 65°F on the 4th.      

Precipitation totaled only 1.64 inches and was 2.64 inches below normal (38%).  The month ranked as the 6th driest such month on record and the driest since 1977.  The month was also the 2nd consecutive month with below normal precipitation.  Measurable precipitation fell on only 5 days of the month.  The most received in a 24-hour period was .76 inches on the 18th.  There were only 6 clear days and only 2 overcast days.
