The temperature averaged 40 degrees and tied with March 2001 as the 8th coldest such month on record.  The month was also the 2nd consecutive month with below normal temperatures. There were 7 days that averaged above normal. There were 10 days with maximums of 50F or highe. Temperature extremes included 58F on the 30th and 26F on the 22nd.            

Precipitation totaled 3.41 inches and was .99 of an inch above normal.  The month ranked as the 12th driest such month on record and the driest since 2004. The month was also the 3rd consecutive month with below normal precipitation. The most to fall in a 24-hour period was 1.25 inches on the 8th. Snowfall was also above normal for the month with 8.9 inches. The month ranked as the 7th snowiest such month on record the snowiest since 1981. The most received ina 24-hour period was 6.0” set on the 8th. The For the season, snowfall totaled 27.6 inches and ranked as the 14th snowiest such season on record and the snowiest since the 2005-05 season. There were 11 clear days and 10 overcast days.
