March’s temperature averaged 44°F and ranked as the 13th warmest such month on record since 2013 (since records started 1977).   The month was also the 4th consecutive such month with above normal temperatures.  Thirteen days averaged near or below normal.  There were 16 days with maximums of 50°F or higher and 6 days with maximums of 60°F or higher.  There was 7 days with maximums of 32°F or lower (normal is 14).  Temperature extremes included 64°F on the 21st and 29°F on the 19th.      

Precipitation for the month totaled 3.62 (90%).  The month ranked as the 16th driest such month on record and the driest since 2013.  The month ranked as the 3rd driest such month on record.  The most received in a 24-hour was 1.50 on an inch on the 3rd-4th.  Snowfall was also below normal with only 0.6 inches (normal is 5.8 inches).  The month ranked as the 2nd least snowiest such month on record and the least since 1991.  It was also the 4th consecutive such month with below normal snowfall.  For the season, snowfall totaled only 4.6 inches and ranked as the 2nd least snowiest such season since 2001.  There wear not any days with measurable snowfall of an inch or more.  The same can be said for the month.  Precipitation fell on 12 days of the month.  The most to fall in a 24-hour period was 1.50 inches on the 3rd-4th.
