The temperatures in May averaged 67.2°F and was 4.4°F above normal.  The month ranked as the 3rd warmest such month on record (1977) and the warmest since 2015. There were only 8 days that averaged near or below normal. There were 12 days with maximum of 80°F or higher and 5 days with maximums of 90°F or higher. Temperature extremes included 96°F on the 3rd and 41°F on the 1st.   

Precipitation totaled 4.12 inches and was near normal but ranked as the 22nd wettest such month on record and the wettest since 1993.  The month was also the 4th consecutive such month with above normal precipitation. There were 14 days with measurable precipitation.  The most to fall in a 24-hours period was .77 inches on the 19th. There were only 6 clear days and 12 overcast days.
