SPRING 2022:  March’s temperature averaged 45.2°F and was 3°F above normal.  The month ranked as the 9^th warmest such month and was the warmest since last year.  The month was the also the 3^rd consecutive such month and 2^nd consecutive month with above normal temperatures.  There were 18 days that averaged near or above normal.  There were 19 days with maximums of 50°F or higher, 10 days with maximums of 60°F or higher and 3 days with maximums of 70°F or higher.  There was only 12 days with minimums of 32°F or lower.  Temperature extremes included 75°F on the 18^th and 21°F on the 4^th.

April’s temperature averaged 53.3°F and was 2.1°F above normal.  The month ranked as the 19^th warmest such month and was the warmest since 2016.  The month was the also the 3^rd consecutive month with above normal temperatures.  There were 17 days that averaged near or above normal and 13 days with maximums of 60°F or higher and 7 days with maximums of 70°F or higher.  There was only 1 day with maximums of 80°F or higher.  Temperature extremes included 87°F on the 14^th and 37°F on the 18^th.

The temperature for May averaged 65.4°F and was 2.6°F above normal.  The month tied with June 2017 as the 10^th warmest such month on record (since 1977).  Twelve days average near or below normal.  There were 5 days with minimums of 80°F or higher.   Temperature extremes included 96°F on the 31^st and 45°F on the 8^th.

The temperature for the season averaged 54.7°F (+3.1°F0 and ranked as the 9^th warmest such season of record and the warmest since 1986.  The season was also the 2^nd consecutive such season with above normal temperatures.
