The temperature for September averaged 71.2°F, which is 3.0°F above normal, and was the warmest since 2021 and ranked as the 5^th warmest such month on record (since 1977).   There were 11 days that averaged near or below normal.  There were 15 days with maximums of 80°F or higher.  Temperature extremes included 88°F on the 6^th and 55°F on the 22^nd.

October’s temperature averaged 59°F, which was normal.  The month ranked as the 10^th warmest such month on record and the warmest since 2019, and ranked as the 15^th warmest consecutive such month on record (since 1977).   11 days averaged near or below normal.  There were 10 days with maximums of 70°F or higher and 4 days with maximums of 80°F or higher. Temperature extremes included 87°F on the 5^th and 41°F on the 27^th.     

In November, the temperature averaged 46.9°F, which was +0.1°F above normal.  The month ranked as the 19^th warmest such month on record and the warmest since 2010, and ranked as the 4^th warmest consecutive such month on record (since 1977).   12 days averaged above normal.  There were 5 days with maximums of 60°F or higher and 2 days with minimums of 32°F or lower. Temperature extremes included 68°F on the 5^th and 32°F on the 29^th.    

Autumn’s temperature averaged 59°F and tied with the autumn 1990 and 2010 as the 7^th warmest such season on record.

Precipitation in September totaled only 2.26 inches (55 percent) and was 1.84 inches below normal.  The month ranked as the 13^th driest such month on record and the driest since 1997. The month was also the 2^nd consecutive such month and the 4^th consecutive month with below-normal precipitation.  There were only 10 days with measurable precipitation. The most received in a 24-hour period was .19 of an inch on the 6-7^th.  There were 5 clear days and only 6 overcast days.

November’s precipitation totaled 2.38 inches (.71 percent) and was .93 inches below normal.  The month ranked as the 14^th driest such month on record and the driest since 2010. The month was also the 5^th consecutive such month with below normal precipitation.  The period Oct-Nov. rainfall totaled 6.47 inches and ranked as the 22^nd driest such period since 1977.  The period was also the 2^nd driest such period.  There was a trace of snow in the month.  The month tied with 1978, 81, 82, 84, 88, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 99, 96, 2004, 05, 08, 10, 13, and 24 as the least snowy such month with below normal snowfall.  There were only 3 clear days of 7 overcast days.
