The temperature for February averaged 39.3F (+5.3°F) and ranked as the 7th warmest such month on record (since 1977) and the warmest since 1997.  The month was also the 3rd consecutive such month with above normal temperatures and 3rd consecutive month with above normal temperatures.  Only 8 days averaged near or below normal.  There were 28 days with maximums of 40°F or higher and 8 days with maximums of 50°F or higher and 1 day with maximum of 60°F.  Temperature extremes included 61°F on the 28th and 23°F on the 25th.       

Precipitation totaled 1.65 inches (.60 percent) and was 1.11 inches below normal.  The month ranked as the 9th driest such month on record and the wettest since 2007.  The month also the 3rd consecutive such month with below normal precipitation.  The period Jam-Feb precipitation totaled 6.46 and ranked as the 22nd driest such period since 2022 and was also the 6th consecutive such period with above normal precipitation.  Measurable precipitation fell on 7 days of the month.  The most to fall in a 24-hour period was .56 inches on the 27th-28th.  Snowfall was below normal with only 8.0 inches.  The month ranked as the 18th least snowiest such month on record since 2007 and the 2nd least consecutive month with below normal snowfall.  There were only 13 clear days and 8 overcast days.
