The average temperature for January was 31.3°F (-0.4°F) and ranked as the 24th warmest such mon on record (since 1977) and the warmest since 2019.  The month was also the 2nd consecutive such month with above normal temperatures.  There were 13 days Temperatures averaged above or near normal.  There were 12 days with maximums of 40°F or higher and 2 days with maximums of 50°F or higher and 28 days with minimums of 32°F or lower.  Temperature extremes included 53°F on the 29th and 10°F on the 22nd          

Precipitation totaled only .57 (16 percent) and was 2.99 inches below normal.  The month ranked as the 15th wettest such month on record and the 2nd driest such mon on record and the driest since 1981.  The period Dec-Jan., 5.78 inches of precipitation was recorded and ranked as the 15th driest such period and the driest since 1982-83.  Snowfall was also below normal.  The month ranked as the 21st least snowiest such month on record.  The month was also the 3rd consecutive such month with below normal snowfall and the 2nd consecutive month with below normal snowfall.  There were only 5 days with measurable precipitation. The most received in a 24-hour period was .29 of an inch on the 19th.  The most snow to fall in a 24-hour period was 3.0 inches on the 11th.  There were 13 clear days and only 2 overcast  days.
