The average temperature for October was 61.3°F (+2.3°F) and ranked as the 6th warmest such month on record (since 1977) and the warmest since 1990.  The month was also the 5th consecutive such month and the 2nd consecutive month with above normal temperatures.  There were 22 days that temperatures averaged above normal.  There were 17 days with maximums of 70°F or higher and 4 days with maximums of 80°F or higher.  Temperature extremes included 84°F on the 31st and 42°F on the 28th.
